Founding of MATIX Corporation of America Corporation as part of our globalization

In 1921, MATIX started as a maker of ceramics' machines. At that time, the Company manufactured textile machinery and machine tools for major manufacturers and, after World War II, served as a plant affiliated to a textile maker.

By then, we had established a total production system for spinning machinery. Matsukawa initiated the production of various machine tools and automotive parts, in a process winning the industry's confidence in our technological capabilities. During the rapid growth period, we established our own position as a manufacturer of automotive parts supplying the needs of Japan's auto industry.

In 2001, we founded the MATIX Corporation of America in Tennessee, in response to the globalization of the auto industry. Based on our rich history, we are taking confident steps toward a bright future.
